Description
The exhibited work, “The Choice of Light,” is my very first large-scale piece.
Revealed to my hand by an inspiration springing from the center of my being, it is precisely from the center of the canvas that this creation unfolds. Joining multi-colored strokes, going with the flow, exploring space through free circular movements, it is without my knowing that a face eventually emerges.
From the very beginning of my young artistic journey, this way of working has been second nature to me.
I refrain from any technical display; I avoid posturing. In my quest for meaning, I seek relaxation, presence in the gesture, a connection to spirituality.
